Personal Life
I grew up in the Chicago area and have lived here all my life. From a young age, I would always draw on my in-class assignments. Art was an early passion of mine. Growing up in the digital age, I picked up the hobby of creating videos, which then led to my interest in graphic design. Since middle school, I taught myself graphic design, shooting video, and editing video. Later, I took graphic design-focused classes in high school, leading me to study it formally in college. Videography is something that I still enjoy working on personally and for work, with my graphic design skills lending a hand in my video work.
Now, I continue to learn the many different aspects of graphic design, photography, and videography. Though I may not be a student anymore, I am always excited to continue learning and improving. I will continue creating until the day that I die, whether it's for work or my own personal projects. Nothing will stop me from doing what I love.
Other Fun Information
I enjoy listening to music, watching movies & television, and playing video games. They all offer so many different stories told in so many different ways. I listen to most genres of music, as long as it tickles my ears I will listen to it! With movies and television, I tend to watch more action or drama-oriented stuff, I typically will keep an open mind when starting a new show. When it comes to video games, I will always give any game a try, but I tend to lean towards more action and science fiction-oriented games; typically shooters.
I am a collector of physical media. I have a wide collection spanning generations of video games, from the PS1 to more modern game console titles. In addition to collecting games and game memorabilia, I collect movies that I love. I am an advocate for the preservation of media such as film, television, music, and video games which can easily become lost to time. I also collect some vinyl records and albums but that collection is not as vast.
